The importance of the cross section model allow subjects to view the building internally through exposing construction details that present spatial and physical relationships. The process of making the cross sectional model is just like building a house, I used actual building materials like recycled timber, aluminium sheets and acrylic board (to mimic glass). The process of such allowed me to be explorative of the fabric elements that are applied to create the overall form in a way that complete site or massing models do not demonstrate.

The cross sectional model is a 1:10 scale, it allows me to use really building materials like hinges and metal plates.
